MAURITIUS. 1886, First issue 2c brown Queen Victoria postal card (1879) overprinted 2 Cents in script, commercially used cancelled by '29' in bars Bambous PO to Rose Hill arrival c.d.s. MAURITIUS - Great Britain. 1893 registered 12c stationery envelope (size 150x95mm) to Liverpool, franked with vertical strip of four and three singles 1883-94 1c pale violet, 8c blue and 15c chestnut, each with watermark Crown CA, perforation 14. All tied by Curepipe 11.8.93 c.d.s., alongside oval REGISTERED*MAURITIUS date stamp and LONDON*REGISTERED transit. Backside stamped with Curepipe 11.8.93 and Liverpool 1.9.92 arrival datestamps.
